Once upon a time there was a girl. She went to bed one night expecting the next day to be exactly the same as all the others. Same routine. Same struggles. Same everything. But, as it turns out, the next day was different. On this day, she awoke to a new feeling, something so sensational it seemed to be bursting out from deep within the very core of her being. A feeling so inspiring, there were hardly words to describe it. What was it??
It was HOPE. Today she had hope. Hope for the next moment and for her lifetime ahead. Hope for today to hold both routine and adventure; both struggles and victories. Today was a brand new day; an unwritten page for which she held the pen. Yes, today was hers to own, to direct, to decide. And she decided to have hope. And you can, too.
We each have the power to decide how we’ll approach each day we are given to live. My encouragement to you for today: choose hope!
Romans 15:13 (from the Bible, New Living Translation)
“I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.”
